Wickersley School is an extremely popular 11-18 school with more than 1,800 pupils. Our Sixth Form is particularly strong with over 350 students.

Everyone should leave lessons feeling that they have made significant progress in skills, knowledge and understanding and we recognise that it is everyone's responsibility to produce maximum effort all the time.

At present the school has 1800 pupils and 123 teachers. Rotherham LEA has designated Wickersley to house the Resource base for Secondary Hearing Impaired Pupils. These are in addition to the 1800 pupils a further 14 pupils enrolled by the Hearing Impaired Service.
