Classroom Supervisor – (Term time only – 32.5 hours per week)

Salary: Band E (Point 7 – 11) – £19,554 – £21,166 (Pro-rata £14,863 – £16,089)



We are seeking to employ a Classroom Supervisor to join our current team working within school to supervise students across the age range 11-18 years, in the absence of their teacher.  Candidates must have at least five GCSE passes at Grade C or above including Maths and English.  Ideally, candidates would have good higher level qualifications, with the ambition and talent to pursue working in an educational environment; preferably candidates will also have previous experience of working with young people.  A full induction and training package will be provided and Supervisors will be supported by Senior Staff.  The school is fully committed to supporting the development of the staff in this role which may include assistance with progression into a teaching role for those who wish to develop their career in education.  The position would ideally suit a mature, confident and calm individual who feels comfortable with older children.  Wickersley School and Sports College is one of just 5 Teaching Schools in Yorkshire and was judged by Ofsted as ”outstanding” in all categories in September 2013; our outcomes now put us in the top 5% of all secondary schools nationwide.
