Students from Year 10 explored the facilities that the AMRC (Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre) had to offer and learnt more about the leading industry employers based on the site and the range of apprenticeship opportunities available.

There was the opportunity to work with robots and carry out simulated welding.

The AMRC has a Summer ‘Manufacturing Camp’ for weeks commencing 25th July and 1st August click here for more details.
This would be well worth booking onto if you would like to explore opportunities within the engineering sector, develop your skills and have some fun!
