In September, the Maths team at Wickersley launched a competition for pupils to design a logo for the Department. The competition was open to all Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils.There were almost 100 entries, with many pupils contributing some fantastic designs.

In June, all pupils in Years 7 and 8 took part in a Revision Challenge to prepare for their End of Year Maths Assessments. Pupils were set tasks online, and they had to complete as many as possible to gain rewards.

74 of our KS3 students really impressed their Maths teachers with their approach to revision for assessments, so much so, that their teachers identified them as Revision Champions and the pupils were awarded certificates by Mrs Renavent.
