Year 13 Geographers turn to teaching!
The Geography Department would like to thank and recognise the achievements of three talented Y13 Geographers; Mollie Arif, Will Daly and Adil Irfan who were given the opportunity to take part in a pilot project to plan and deliver a Geography Workshop to engage Y7 Geography students in geographical issues.
The committed 6th formers planned an engaging session, inviting students to explore solutions to a wide range of contemporary problems such as The European Migrant Crisis, How to tackle climate change and the rise of China as a global superpower.
The students conducted themselves in a professional and engaging manner, demonstrating the skills of teamwork, confidence and leadership in abundance! Thank you also to Thomas Marshall (Y7), Isobel Culf (Y7), Lily Wright (Y7) and Finn Thompson (Y7) who took part in the session. We look forward to hosting more of these events in the future.
