The Humanities Department are offering Y10 and Y12 students the opportunity to go on a four day visit to Berlin, Germany – Friday 16th October – Monday 19th October 2020.
The overall cost is £499 and includes all travel (return flights from Manchester to Berlin), 3 nights accommodation and entrance fees to sites. The trip is open to Year 10 and Year 12 students that are studying History.
On the trip there will be visits to Sachsenhausen and the House of the Wannsee Conference outside of the city, Olympic Stadium, Deutsches Historisches Museum, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate and the Topography of Terror (Gestapo and SS HQ).
This trip will fully immerse you in the History of your GCSE course, if you are interested in taking part letters are available outside the Humanities workroom.
