Year 7 Castle Challenge
History
Wednesday 6th June 2018

Before the half term holiday, Year 7 rounded off their work on William the Conqueror by taking part in a castle building challenge. The students worked in teams with a strict time limit to build small replica medieval castles, using only cardboard and other recycled items brought in from home. They were allowed to choose from; a motte and bailey, a stone square keep, a stone round keep and a concentric castle.

They had great fun and there were some pretty impressive results! Winners from each class received CFPs, and there were also CFPs given for excellent team work skills. Well done Year 7!
