Students in Year 12 and Year 13 visited the Buddhist Centre in Sheffield on Monday. They had the opportunity to examine artwork on the life of the Buddha and on the Buddhist teaching of taking refuge. One of the artefacts they looked at included a demon dagger!
They also took part in a stilling session and a workshop on karma and the 5 precepts. The Triratna Buddhist Order were very welcoming and the session was very useful for students who will be taking exams in A-Level Religious Studies.
