Year 12 Religious Studies students recently visited The Buddhist Centre in Sheffield; a centre run by members of the Triratna Buddhist Order. Share this…
Students in Year 7 Religious Studies have recently been learning about Sikhism. Meredith Davidson went above and beyond outside of lesson and researched a recipe to make Karah Parshad (a sweet dish which Sikhs share to show everyone is equal and that life is sweet).
Meredith brought in what she had made, including photographs of each step of the method and was able to explain to the rest of the class what she had done in the kitchen. Meredith’s classmates were then able to sample some of the karah prashad.
Well done Meredith for bringing our learning to life!!
