After making their first websites using HTML & CSS, Year 9 Computer Science students are now learning about the hardware involved with computer systems.
Armed with a screwdriver and their smartphone camera, students were tasked with taking a computer to pieces and documenting the process along the way. Every screw was removed, stripping the machines back to their bare bones.
Students then made a presentation detailing what they found, including photos and descriptions of each of the components and details of their function.
With the help of the “before” pictures taken at the start of the task, all teams were successfully able to reassemble their computer and only 2 plasters were required from the first aid box!
