Twelve Year 8 dancers spent Tuesday afternoon down at Wickersley Community Centre in front of the Wickersley Neighbourhood Group (WING) and showcased their dancing talents.
The twelve students were asked by the student leaders (Community In Action Team) to represent the school and share their skills at the weekly community meet. The regular neighbourhood guests were in ore of the talent and demonstrated their appreciation with warm applause after each dance.
The students then helped serve tea, coffee and biscuits to the guests and continued to share stories which were lovely to see.
The WING group meet up every Tuesday which allows the older generation to ‘get out and socialise’ in the library each week, it is such an important weekly event for the community.
