Year 10-13 Film, Media and Drama students were lucky enough to make the trip to Watford last Friday to attend the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studios.
Built on the site of the actual studios where the famous films were made, students had the opportunity to take part in a subject-specific workshop looking at camera angles used in the films and the detail and importance of each decision.
They then made their way around the various sound stages looking at the sets, and thousands of props and costumes, artwork and special effects that make the films so memorable. Privet Drive, the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and the Gryffindor Common room as well as the very impressive Hogwarts Express.
It really was a fantastic day and let us in on the many secrets of the industry!
