Building work is continuing on the new £2.9 million classroom block which holds 17 classrooms and will be the new home to our English Department. The new building, which will be handed over to the school in October, will be ready for students when they return after October Half-Term.

Student Jonathan Seyboth has been taking photographs of the building every other day / week since early spring this year and has formulated this into a time lapse photography film.

Elsewhere in the school, A Block has received a revamp over the Summer Holidays with the old windows around the quad being replaced for double glazing and new doors. The quad itself has been cleared, making way for the new astroturf.

The school will be consulting with students over the coming weeks and months to decide how the new area will be used.
