During this term, students at Wickersley have taken time to show their recognition for their fellow students with our new scheme ‘Student Shoutout’ as part of our ‘Get Involved’ agenda.
Students are invited to recognise peers of their choice whom they believe demonstrate one or more of our Ready to Learn attributes such as taking responsibility, having a great attitude to learning or for producing outstanding learning.
The response since the launch has been superb. A huge number of students have taken time to think and share wonderfully thoughtful and honest recognition of their peers. We are incredibly pleased that students are continuing to understand the value of considering others along with the importance of sharing and earning positive praise from their peers.
We are proud of our students for sharing their recognition and we look forward to even more being sent and delivered in the new year.
