Last Friday was a Non uniform day for students and staff who were helping to raise money for the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
The day included a young lady called Suzanne spending the day with us and bringing in her hearing dog Seb to raise awareness. Students and staff also helped to raise money by baking and having a cake sale within school. The hearing impaired department also ran a competition ‘name the puppy’ where students and staff had the opportunity to guess the name of two soft toy puppies.
So far we have raised a total of £1,803.51 and there are still opportunities to help raise money towards the cause.
