48 Year 8 and 9 pupils made the long journey to Windsor and back on Friday to experience all that Legoland had to offer.

As a reward for their hard work in preparation for the end of year assessments before the summer holidays, the pupils were a credit to the school as a thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all.

As well as exploring all of the rides of the park, the pupils participated in a “Lego Robotics” workshop. Using a specially designed program to move Lego robots around a map of Mars, the pupils also had to use the robots features to grab and escort objects safely back to their spaceship.

Despite a tiring day, it is hoped that all who attended will be inspired to get involved with a new “Lego Club,” which will use similar robots to move around circuits, due to begin after Half Term.
