This year’s Christmas dinner will take place on Wednesday 16th December. We’re doing things a little bit differently this year…
Once again Wickersley School will be helping to collect gifts for the Mission Christmas Charity Event!
What can we do to help?
Buy one extra Christmas present when you are out shopping, it does not have to be a big gift, and it can be for any age/gender person, from birth up to 18 years old. This can be something from as little as £1 (Poundland sell some fab things!)
The gift should be new and unused and unwrapped, in order for the charity to donate to the correct age/gender group. We can not accept war-related toys including guns and war games, chocolate and food.
Gifts can be given in to the Social Sciences workroom, which is located on the top floor of F Block or you may leave them in reception and mention Mission Christmas.
Just before we break up for Christmas I will take the gifts down to Hallam FM in order for them to be wrapped and distributed to children in South Yorkshire, who would otherwise receive nothing.
The deadline for fetching gifts into school is the last week of term.
Thank you for your help with this amazing charity event, as always!
