We are pleased to announce we have completed the ‘donate to fill a plate’ distance challenge, 8760 miles (which is the distance between Wickersley School and Sports College and Johan Hus Mor school in South Africa) completed in the month of May by 31 students, their families and 16 staff members. It is certainly something to be proud of and we are sure these young people and staff members will remember this fondly having realised the impact they have made to a community in need during this unforgettable period in their lives. This coupled with the benefits this has provided everybody both physically and psychologically most certainly feels like a double win.

We targeted £1000 initially and we are currently at £2,330 which is fabulous. The first £1000 already out there improving the situation. We thank you for your generous donations, giving at any particular time is a beautiful thing but when we are experiencing testing times ourselves certainly demonstrates profound generosity at it’s pure finest.

With resilience, determination and togetherness, anything is possible.
