Mrs Mason and Mrs Broadhead teamed up to lead WERC (Wickersley Empathy and Restoration in the Community) with Year 9 students. The project has seen students developing an understanding of their local community and how they can look after the area they live.
The project was in partnership with RMBC, Neighbourhood Partnership Team and students have had the opportunity to decide on the rules for the new Flanderwell Park. They then designed posters for the final rule board to go in the park. Eleanor Longden-Plant from 9G pulled together the ideas to create the final design.
Her work is outstanding and will become reality within the next few months.
