Year 9 Community Project
School News
Monday 23rd July 2018

Some of our year 9 students have been very busy over the last month making drain bags for Rotherham Hospital as part of their community project.

These drain bags are for ladies who have had a mastectomy, and enables them to carry their drain more easily following surgery.

Erin Wood and Olivia Wood have both given up their lunchtimes to help make as many as possible, and we have delivered them to the Macmillan nurse at Rotherham hospital this morning. The hospital were extremely grateful for their hard work and said what a difference it would make to these women after undergoing life-changing surgery.
