A2 Physics Challenge
Thursday 7th January 2016
Four Y13 A-Level Physics students entered themselves into the A2 Challenge run by the British Physics Olympiad. The challenge is an hour-long exam which is designed to test their application of both familiar and unfamiliar concepts in Physics.
Oliver Brown, Daniel Roe, and William Oxley all performed well, narrowly missing out on the coveted Merit award. Daniel Hunt excelled, achieving a Merit award. All 4 students went on to take part in the actual Round 1 of the British Physics Olympiad itself (a gruelling 2h 40min challenge designed to test the very best and brightest).  We are eagerly awaiting their results.
