We understand that students may be worried about their GCSE results on Thursday and whether they’ll meet our entry requirements or not.
We have now decided to use teachers’ predictions (centre assessed grades) when checking applications and subject choices against our entry requirements.
Hopefully this news will reassure students and parents in the run-up to Thursday’s results.
Most departments will also carry out assessments in September to ensure that students are suitable for the courses that they have chosen.
