On Sunday 19th June 2016, 67 cheerleaders from Wickersley descended on The Velodrome in Manchester for the National Schools Cheerleading Championships.

They all performed amazingly well and were rewarded for all of their hard work with brilliant results.
The Year 7 team came 3rd in both their cheerleading and pom dance categories, Year 8 and 9 achieved 1st in cheerleading and 5th in pom dance and the Y10-13 team placed 1st in cheerleading.

Well done to all of the cheerleaders! You should be very proud of yourselves.
