Swimming Success for Bow

Congratulations to Bow who swam amazingly last weekend when he competed in Cardiff.

He got through to the finals for both the 200 meter freestyle and the 100 meter freestyle, finishing in first place in his age group for the 200 and 2nd place for the 100. He also swam PB’s in both events which has secured him an invitation to the English National championships this summer. In the 50 meter Freestyle he finished 43rd out of 180 which was an open event meaning he was competing against men; he was the fastest 14 year old.

Bow will be competing at the British Nationals this summer as the youngest boy in his clubs boys age 14-16 4x100metre freestyle relay team. They came 4th at the North East Regional Championships at the beginning of May and have qualified for the British Nationals.

Bow’s times from Cardiff are now on the swim England rankings. 👏

We work hard and never give less than our best!
