Film & Media Trips
Message to all current Y9, 10 and 11. If you are taking Film or Media Studies next year for GCSE or A Level, or are currently taking Film Studies GCSE, the Film and Media department are planning Educational Visits and need to see how many students would be interested in attending before they are booked.
Current Y9 and 10 are invited to two possible visits: The Harry Potter tour near London for a full day and visiting the National Media Museum in Bradford to learn about different types of animation, make your own clay models and then work in groups to create your own animation using computers and miniDV cameras.
Y11 into Y12 are invited to The Harry Potter tour as we will be working on the British Film industry. I am also planning Educational visits to the National Media Museum in Bradford.
Please can you see or email Ms Hale before Friday 15th May, if you are interested in attending any visits as I need numbers before I can book. You can find me in C10, email, firstname.lastname@example.org
or you can let Ms Partington in the Creative Arts Office (Music corridor) know. No money is needed at this stage and the decision is not binding – it is only to estimate numbers.
