Congratulations to Harry Saxton on his recent success of finishing runner up in national Table Tennis tournament held in Blackpool.
Heres what Harry had to say: I have been playing table tennis for two and a half years and I train five times a week. I am currently ranked 60 in the under 13’s for England out of 433. Recently I have had wins over the player ranked 19 in England but I have also beaten the player ranked 38. Last weekend I entered the Blackpool 2* competition and I played in the under 15’s, won my group and made it to the first round losing out to the player ranked 37.
Later on when I played in the under 13’s I made it to the final. In the quarter final I had to play my brother and I only just beat him 3-2. Then in the semi final I played the player ranked 37 again so the odds were against me. This time I edged out on top beating him 3-1 so I had made it to the final and I had to play Scotlands number 1 which I lost respectively 3-1 and I had come runner up but still received a trophy.
