Applied Business students received a warm and welcoming reception at Ledwoods, a local business for local people that is winning the battle to get the community back into shopping for fresh, quality ingredients. The students interviewed owner Paul for their applied business coursework and plan to produce a promotional strategy for this new niche enterprise. Alongside wanting financial success, students were impressed with Paul’s genuine interest in being a part of the local community and his strong sense of ethical and social responsibility.  The students who participated were: Spenser Brownrigg, Jamie Coggle, Mitchell Lindley, Danielle Barks, Bethan Clark, Leah Hancock, Bethney Machin, Nicole Slater and Zoe Watson; all of whom were excited to get started on their strategic planning, produce their coursework and present their ideas back to Paul in the autumn.
