Y10s put their Spanish to good use this Wednesday with a trip to La Tasca in Meadowhall, not quite Las Ramblas in Barcelona, but passers-by would not have known the difference listening to the Spanish spoken by all.
For the past couple of weeks students have been perfecting their skills at ordering food in a restaurant or café. This Wednesday, students realised how much they had learnt when, with the help of La Tasca’s Spainsh waiter, students ordered for themselves a selection of traditional tapas to share without speaking a word of English!
Olives, calamari, paella and croquetas de Manchego we tried them all!
¡Buen trabajo chicos!
