Wickersley School & Sports College, raising money for Bluebell Wood Hospice.

During the first half term Y10 & Y11 students at Wickersley School & Sports College crafted a range of Christmas gifts to sell in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. The enterprise project has been set up as part of the Alternative Curriculum scheme of work in Design & Technology. Pupils in Y10 created a range of Christmas tree decorations, coasters, gift tags and chocolate cookies; Y11s baked reindeer cupcakes.

These were sold around the school during the last week of term during lessons and break times, by pupils, raising £180. Y10 pupils delivered the cheque on Monday 20th January along with some of the teaching staff (Pictured L to R: Ms Oxley, Beth Ralph, Joe Davies, James Woodland, Megan Dunne, Leanne Ncube, Alex Johnson Sam Stocks, Mrs Archer and Melanie Rose of Bluebell Wood).
