Five Y13 Economics pupils finished runners-up at the Regional Heats for the Target 2.0 competition in Leeds.
They have shown fantastic commitment in recent months to research the data and prepare their arguments and presentation on what Monetary Policy decisions the Monetary Policy Committee should be making. The delivery of their presentation was exceptional with students showing great confidence and the group demonstrated sound economic knowledge in the tough questioning which followed. The students should be extremely pleased with this accomplishment; they have done themselves and the school extremely proud.
Students involved included: Aidan Kidder (captain), Sophie Hodgson, Sam Willey, James Hammerton and Ben Brydges.
