With just a handful of Spanish lessons under their belt our Y9s put their Spanish to good use whilst on a trip to La Tasca in Meadowhall, not quite La Plaza Mayor in Madrid, but passers-by would not have known the difference listening to the Spanish spoken by all.
Since the start of term, students have been perfecting their skills at ordering food in a restaurant, and during the week before October half term that got to practice what they had learnt.
Students behaved impeccably and were a true credit to themselves, the school and their parents. Their positive attitude towards trying new food, speaking to the waiters in Spanish and embracing Spanish culture is to be applauded.
¡Buen trabajo chicos!
