Wickersley School’s annual Movement Festival; an evening of dance, gymnastics and cheerleading took place to a packed audience over 4 nights from 6th to 9th February 2023. Over 160 students and 16 staff took part in the show displaying their hard work over the previous months. Many of the pieces involved large groups which were choreographed and arranged by school staff or some of our older students. The show also featured smaller groups of students performing solos, duets and quartets which they had successfully auditioned back in November. Students performed to a very high standard and their performances were well received. We have received some wonderful feedback from various members of our wider school community. It was a joy to watch the students perform and you could see their sense of pride and elation afterwards. Well done to everyone involved.
