Y7 Mosque Trip

Recently our Year 7 students visited the Madina Masjid Mosque in Sheffield as part of our entitlement curriculum.

The RE department at Wickersley Partnership Trust believe that visits to places of worship are an important experience that will give students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of different beliefs beyond what we learn about in the classroom.

During the visit, our tour guide explained the different features of the Mosque and the daily life routines of a Muslim.

Our students had a fantastic time and we would like to thank Zahid Saleem and the Madina Masjid for allowing us to visit.

“The mosque trip was really fun and educational.  I learned loads about what the daily life of Muslims is like.

Our tour guide did a really great job – not only did we listen to him but he listened to us and answered our questions.”  Emilia Burton

“It was fun – seeing a mosque was an experience I never thought I would have in my life.”  Josh Powell

The two remaining trips will take place on 27th April & 3rd May.
