This week, our Y9 students attended a residential camp in Ripon with the British Army.
The students spent a morning attending the army college campus in Harrogate, where they discussed potential careers within the military.
The students then moved on to Ripon and took part in field exercises which included setting up a shelter, cooking in the field, and casualty evacuation.
The commanding officer commented that the “Wickersley students conducted themselves excellently throughout the course”.
