On Thursday 5th June, 35 Year 9 Wickersley students completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Expedition. Students had to battle with the elements during the expedition, as they experienced driving rain and glorious sunshine throughout the 2 days.
Students hiked up Mam Tor and along the Ridgeline to Lose Hill on Day 1, then through the beautiful Cave Dale and Winnats Pass on Day 2. Everyone was amazing throughout and showed incredible resilience despite the changeable weather. Well done to everyone for successfully passing your expedition!
