Last Thursday saw the first big House Event at Wickersley Sixth Form – and what a brilliant start it was! The quiz night was well attended by both staff and students from across all houses, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
The competition was fierce, with a range of challenging and intriguing rounds that really made everyone rack their brains. Teams competed in three categories – student teams, staff teams, and mixed staff/student teams – which made for some exciting match-ups.
Everyone had a great time, and our winning team (a mixed team) stormed ahead with an impressive 50 points out of 55.
Here are the overall house points after the event:
1st – Carbo: 2500 points
2nd – Vitrum: 1662 points
3rd – Ferrum: 787 points
4th – Chalybs: 625 points
It was a fantastic evening, and we can’t wait for the next event!
