Over the last half term, a group of Wickersley students participated in a Chiptunes creation workshop with HarleyLikesMusic and Rotherham Children’s Capital of Culture.
Students were taught how to create Chiptunes music using game controllers and coding techniques. Wickersley students created their own unique Chiptunes music, which will be featured on the Rotherham Children’s Capital of Culture website in the new year.
Music creation in 2025 is constantly evolving, and we feel grateful at WSSC to be able to broaden our students’ horizons in music by offering them both traditional and modern approaches to music performance and creation.
