This week, our Year 12 students attended the UCAS Discovery Event at Sheffield Arena, where they spent an informative and engaging morning exploring their options for higher education.
The event brought together universities and colleges from across the UK, providing students with the opportunity to speak directly with representatives about a wide range of courses, entry requirements, student life, and the application process. Students were able to ask questions, gather prospectuses, and gain a better understanding of what different institutions can offer.
Attending the event encouraged students to start thinking about their future aspirations and helped them to explore the many pathways available after sixth form. The experience also gave them valuable insight into university and college life, enabling them to make more informed decisions about their next steps.
Our students represented the school exceptionally well, showing maturity and enthusiasm throughout the visit. We hope the information and advice they received will help them as they begin planning for their future studies and careers.
We look forward to supporting our Year 12 students as they continue to explore their options and prepare for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
