As part of our entitlement curriculum, Y7 students recently visited the Madina Masjid. At Wickersley Partnership Trust, we believe that visits to places of worship provide valuable learning experiences, giving students the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of different beliefs and cultures beyond the classroom.
During the visit, our guide, Zahid, introduced students to the key features of the mosque and explained the beliefs and daily practices of Muslims. Students also explored the similarities between the Abrahamic religions – Judaism, Christianity, and Islam – helping to reinforce their learning from this year’s curriculum.
The visit was both informative and engaging, and our students represented the school brilliantly throughout. We would like to thank Zahid and everyone at Madina Masjid for their warm welcome and continued support.
