Wickersley School has enjoyed another highly successful Duke of Edinburgh expedition season! Throughout this year’s expeditions, our students have shown outstanding resilience, determination, and perseverance, tackling a range of challenging conditions, from torrential rain to extreme heat. Despite the obstacles they faced, they maintained a positive attitude and supported one another every step of the way.
Alongside completing their expeditions, students developed valuable life skills, including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, navigation, independence, and leadership. They stepped outside their comfort zones, built confidence, and demonstrated real maturity throughout the experience. We are delighted that all students successfully completed their expeditions. A huge congratulations to everyone involved!
