Last week, 13 Wickersley students successfully completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in the Lake District. They walked over 60km during their 4 day expedition, travelling from Keswick to Buttermere, and through the Borrowdale Valley.
They battled the elements; starting with heavy rain on day 1, and finishing with several days of intense heat and glorious sunshine. The students were in amazing spirits throughout, despite the challenging conditions. They worked together to help each other through it, and were an asset to themselves and the school.
Well done, everyone!
