It’s been a fantastic week for our Y7 boys’ football team! On Tuesday evening, they faced Wath in a very tough semi-final of the Rotherham Schools Cup. With the score level at 1-1 in the final minutes, Wickersley scored a crucial free-kick goal, expertly headed in the box, securing their place in the Rotherham Schools Cup final next Saturday.
Then, on Wednesday, the boys played against Clifton in a spirited match, winning 8-1 and scoring some truly fantastic goals along the way. Well done to the team for their skill and determination!
