Our year 7 boys progressed into the last 16 last Tuesday in another pulsating game which saw 12 goals. Wickersley came from behind twice to lead 3-2 at halftime. An excellent first 15 minutes in the second half ensured the boys took a 5-2 lead going into the last 15. However, an impressive fightback from the opposition lead to the game being tied 5-5 with 3 minutes to go.
The team kept their heads held high showed outstanding resilience to hit back with 2 quickfire goals in a dramatic last few minutes.
