Y7 Girls Football Success!
Last week, our Year 7 footballers represented Wickersley school in their first competitive game together! They were supported by three Year 8s in the under 13s English schools FA cup competition. They ended the match with an excellent 7-0 win at Sir Thomas Wharton, well done everyone!

Y13 Visit Sheffield Hallam University!
Y13 Chemistry students visited Sheffield Hallam University’s outreach labs this week. They synthesised cyclohexene from cyclohexanol, purified and analysed their samples. It is an excellent opportunity for students to use university level equipment not available to schools such as their own fume cupboards, stirrer-hot plates, rotary evaporators, IR and NMR machines.
