Eco Councillors Meet Local MP

There is ‘Hope For The Future’ as all Eco Councillors from across the Trust met for the third time this year to submit their climate for change proposals to local MP, John Healey.
 
Each school representing 8 to 10 students showcased their work and campaigns to the Hope For Future CEO and MP John Healey, whom were both suitably impressed.
 
This was work that they have created and developed throughout the year in their roles.
 
The Wickersley Eco Council students will continue to work with the whole Wickersley school community to spread awareness on climate change, reducing the use of single use plastics and encourage recycling where possible. 
 
Mr Gill would like to personally thank the dedicated students for their commitment and positive drive throughout the year, who will all continue in this role next year:
