Wickersley had 5 year groups qualify for the Rotherham Schools Netball Finals day on Saturday 23rd March. There were some outstanding Netball on display from all year groups and some fantastic success. 👏
The Sixth Form, Year 10 and Year 9 teams all made it comfortably through the semis to the grand final, with the Year 8’s missing out by 1 goal in extra time! After some close games, especially from the Year 9 team with 1 goal deciding the game, Wickersley won the Sixth Form and Year 10 finals and the Year 9’s came runners up!
Each player should be extremely proud of themselves for working hard in training all year, well done girls – we are very proud of you!
