National Careers Week

It was ‘National Careers Week’ last week and students at Wickersley received many visitors into school ranging from alumni students to post-16 providers and staff from Department of Work and Pensions.

The Department of Work and Pensions has visited Year 13 this week helping then with their employability prospects as they progress from sixth form.

Year 7 students are exploring future pathways with sessions from HEPP.

Princes Trust Enterprise Challenge

Our Y8 Mosaic enterprise team winners, E.Co, are busy preparing their ‘social enterprise’ business pitch for regional finals at KPMG in Leeds. Well done for reaching the finals!

Apprenticeships Be Inspired

Year 11 students wishing to pursue an apprenticeship after school are visiting the ‘Apprenticeships Be Inspired’ event at Cutlers Hall with over 60 employers present.

At Wickersley we aim to send every young person into the world able and qualified to play their full role in it.
