Thursday 19th November 2015

The Y11 football team entered the Rotherham United Futsal tournament with little experience and things started badly with a loss to Thrybergh despite a fine Henry Wallis goal. They fought back to beat Wingfield in the second game with Charley Wild adding a brace. The key game next when the team recovered to come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Liam Ashton hitting the net twice. With Thrybergh recording a surprise loss a big win in the final game would give Wickersley victory on goal difference. The team clicked into gear and recorded a 3-1 win. Keeper and captain Tom Brown received the winners certificates after the goals were counted up.

Now for the South Yorkshire Cup quarter-final.
